QR Code experiment by Google

Google has been testing more secure ways for users to access their Gmail accounts from public computers, and one experiment included QR codes.

The test is no longer available, but Google says there's more to come. A PCWorld writer was able to successfully access his Gmail account via both Android and iPhone (Google said it would also work with Windows Phone).
